SOCK HOP SUCCESS

WHAT A ROCKIN' SOCK HOP! A thank you to all the parents who helped set up, donate food and drinks, serve food, run the cakewalk, sell tickets, take tickets, clean-up, take care of the fish, and so much more. By giving the gift of time, we, as a community made this year’s Sock Hop a great success! We hope all of your memories were preserved on photos from the photo booth, cakes were enjoyed from the cakewalk, and fish are happy in their new homes. A special thanks to Lucretia Cahill for chairing such a successful committee.

One of the cost-cutting measures being considered as part of CCSD's $62 million budget cuts for the 2012-2013 school year targetsCobb County's full-time media parapros for reduction to half time. Let your State legislator and Cobb School Board member know your feelings about the proposed cuts as you see fit.

5th Grade Party
Planning for the 5th grade party is well underway and the committee is seeking business donations. Lunch items in quantity of 200 are needed, event vendors that would like to donate services for free, goody bad donations and small raffle items.
