Standing Committees are PTA committees that conduct official business for the entire school year. Chairpersons of the Standing Committees are also members of the PTA Board.

Community Outreach Works with school social worker to identify and meet any needs of Cheatham Hill families. Supports and provides volunteers for a community clothes closet (The Giving Tree). Hispanic Outreach

Programs are provided to better educate and inform the Spanish speaking population at CHES. Four educational seminars are planned for the year including information about report cards, conferences and CRCT.

Students build literacy skills through letter writing and reading. Volunteers work with student "postmen" to facilitate mail delivery before 7:50 AM. The delivery system runs for three 1-2 week sessions several times a year.
