Standing Committees
Standing Committees are PTA committees that conduct official business for the entire school year. Chairpersons of the Standing Committees are also members of the PTA Board.

| Community Outreach | Works with school social worker to identify and meet any needs of Cheatham Hill families. Supports and provides volunteers for a community clothes closet (The Giving Tree). | Rocket Reader | A monthly reading program to encourage kids to read more, to reward them for doing so, and to hopefully instill in them a love of reading. Special Committees
Special Committees are PTA committees that conduct business for a special event. When the special event is completed, the committee does not continue official business for the rest of the school year and no longer operates.

| Reflections | Sponsored by the National PTA. Children can demonstrate talent in the areas of music, art, photography and literature. Volunteers distribute information, honor participants and send entries to the council level during the fall. | Jane Dunaway |
